For Authors

If you are interested in submitting to this journal, we recommend that you review the Author Guidelines. Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.

LAB is an online, diamond open access journal published annually (using the CC BY License). LAB publishes articles and editorials (peer-reviewed) as well as conversations (not peer-reviewed). We accept papers written in English, German and French. The length of the contributions should not exceed a total of 10,000 words. To submit a contribution, please upload it via "Make a Submission".

Besides individual contributions we host special issues. If you are interested in publishing a special issue as a guest editor, please get in touch with us via mail.

Peer Review Process

LAB adheres to currently accepted standards for scholarly publications. In addition to an editorial review, this includes a double-blind peer review by two external reviewers. In this process, authors, the editorial team, and reviewers work together to ensure the quality of the contributions. For more information on our peer review process, please see our Author Guidelines.
